Abstract: The concept of intermittency has been applied to generalize Kolmogorov's hypothesis on turbulence. Formulation for eddy diffusivities are derived using a generalized Kolmogorovīs spectral equation for energy and the Taylor's statistical theory on turbulence. The intermittency is modeled by a multifractal approach.
